A tropical climate predominates with temperatures fluctuating between 18 and 35 degrees centigrade. Increased precipitation punctuates the hot Summer months while temperatures remain quite mild in Winter. As Rio de Janeiro's unique, natural beauty offers breath-taking scenery, spectacular cuisine and very amiable people, Rio has became known locally and internationally as "Cidade Maravilhosa" or the marvelous city.

Think about it . . . How many cosmopolitan cities in the world inspire such admiration and loyalty from millions of adoring fans who return to Rio year after year? Cariocas (the name given to the people of Rio) tend to be extremely open, warm and friendly. Rio de Janeiro is a welcoming city where all people are accepted.

As if this wasn't enough, Rio has an exotic, rich culture, excellent gastronomical options and wonderful events like Carnaval with its samba school parades and a mind-blowing celebration of the New Year on Copacabana Beach; January 1 generally brings together 2+ million people from all over the world to party 'til the sun comes up.

Rio de Janeiro has inspired many artists and musical compositions in much the same way Paris and New York have. Rio gave birth to one of the most influential musical styles of our time: Bossa Nova. Most Bossa Nova songs are declarations of love for the city. We also have many other music styles, one being Samba, the music of Carnaval.

It's impossible not to fall in love with this city!!!
